116 "Taterhead is Our Love Child"Lee Aronsohn, Jim Patterson, Don Foster, Chuck Lorre and Mark Roberts James Widdoes. September 22, 2008 601 Charlie runs into an ex-girlfriend (Rena Sofer), who has a child with her who looks just like him. He also wears the same clothes and his name is "Chuck" (nickname for Charlie). He ponders how to handle the situation, but things aren't always as they seem.

117 "Pie Hole, Herb" Eddie Gorodetsky, Susan Beavers, Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn James Widdoes September 29, 2008 602 Alan lends Charlie $38, which Charlie has no interest in repaying. Alan's revenge plan ends with Charlie throwing him out of the house, so Alan and Jake end up staying with a friendly Herb and angry Judith. But after Herb bonds with Charlie and Alan crosses a line with Judith, she takes measures to reset the situation. Meanwhile, thanks to Evelyn, Jake gets a job as a street advertiser for condos.

Charlie tries to help her out by giving her a room at his house and a job tutoring her ex-student Jake, but things spiral out of control when the guys find out she's become a religious fundamentalist. NOTE: Miss Pasternak (played by Missi Pyle) first appeared in the Season 2 episode "A Bag Full of Jawea"

Meanwhile, Alan scores a hot date with the help of Charlie's Mercedes and ends up losing both the car and what little was left of his dignity in a dress.
