That's Not What They Call In Amsterdam (formerly The Island of Broken Toys ) is the 5th episode of the tenth season of Two and a Half Men . It originally aired on October 25, 2012.
Plot [ ] Walden , Charlie's successor in the Harper household, dates Rose despite Alan 's warnings against it because of what she did to his brother Charlie that led to his death. Alan and Lyndsey take Walden out to dinner, where they run into Zoey and her date Peter. After dinner, Lyndsey is concerned for Walden and decides to set him up with one of her friends. After various bad double dates, Walden decides to stay single for a while. He goes out to Pavlov's where he meets Charlie 's former stalker Rose (Melanie Lynskey ), and they hit it off after he saves her from choking to death on a peanut. This news shocks Alan . He tries to warn Walden about Rose , describing her tactics and history (like stalking Charlie until his death), but Walden disregards them, as Rose explained everything to him. Alan remains suspicious of Rose , thinking she's out to get Walden . When he walks in on the two of them engaged in a bondage game, he thinks that Rose has manipulated Walden .
At the end of the episode, Rose takes a video-call from Jake at the army base and he is not surprised that she is dating Walden. He states that he should have seen that coming, then ends the call in a panic when she implies that she has been spying on him as well.
Cast [ ] Trivia [ ] This is Rose 's first appearance since "What A Lovely Landing Strip ", which aired on December 5, 2011.
This is the first episode this season in which the late Charlie Harper has been mentioned, and the 13th episode so far in which he's been mentioned.
Evelyn and Judith do not appear in this episode. Title quotation from [ ] Rose , to Alan about the leaf-blower she is using for a bondage game with Walden .
